what we do
Cinema is generally the most popular form of paid leisure activity for any given demographic. We work with the government, local community, developers and other interested parties to deliver a viable and enjoyable cinema that fits within the constraints of that community. In Australia there are consistently about 90 million plus paid admissions per annum. Attending a cinema is more popular than visiting a Museum or going to the Theatre, a Zoo or an Aquarium or even attending a paid Sporting Event. This is part of a wider international pattern and these statistics are largely mirrored wherever modern facilities are built and operated correctly.
Cinema is part of the “essential” social fabric of a community and many communities benefit from its presence. It is especially sad, particularly in today’s challenging environment, that more cinemas are not included when considering new town ship developments. A modern Cinema, as an entertainment offering for the community, increases the range, depth and complexity of entertainment options, not necessarily associated with alcohol, for adults and in particular teenagers.
Current technological developments coupled with appropriate development planning means the actual cost of providing for a cinema within township developments is more achievable than ever before.
